I'd imagine most people trying to integrate the EA PLay would probably have failed if this program is anything to go by. ![]() I was running EA Desktop for a few months before hand, and lord is that thing buggy as hell. Note that my theory on why it was cancelled/moved/delayed for Windows is because the EA Play integration was supposed to hinge on EA's new and utterly horrible "EA Desktop" which is DIFFERENT than Origin. EA Access subscription + Active Xbox Live Gold membership. Battlefield 1 game + Active Xbox Live Gold membership. ![]() However at the last second MS cancelled it and said the integration was going to happen in '2021' sometime for Windows.ġ) EA Play is available on CONSOLES for Ultimate usersĢ) The intended integration for WINDOWS users was delayed until 'sometime in 2021' You need an active Xbox Live Gold membership in order to be able to play the multiplayer online portion of most of the games, this is charged by Microsoft. This really isnt a steam question but I'll answer it mostly because I have the same thingĮA Play was SUPPOSED to come to Windows in mid December to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate (note that EA Play is already working on consoles so you can go there if you want).
