I have been a loyal customer at Jacky Chen's for many years and was really surprised by the response I received when I called to explain that what I received was vastly different from what I believed that I was ordering. Their website doesn't provide a description so for anyone else who might assume they are getting a noodle dish, I have provided a picture below so you can see what you will receive at Jacky Chen's. However, at Jacky Chen's it is a saucy cabbage, celery and chicken dish without noodles. I also googled Chicken Chow Mein and all the dishes look similar to the Trader Joe's version. For example, I eat Trader Joe's Chicken Chow Mein regularly and it looks like the picture below. She's lacking customer compassion.I ordered Chicken Chow Mein which I assumed would be similar to the Chow Mein I have had at other places. But goodness, the lady working Friday afternoon of 3/22 needs some customer service skills. I just had someone yell at me and hang up on me when I asked to speak to a manager. All I wanted was an "I'm sorry" or for someone to check the website and say "hey, you're right. Not once apologizing for the coupon being wrong on the website. So I called the restaurant to let them know what the website says and the lady that answered talked over me the ENTIRE time. I was only trying to give the driver an extra dollar tip. I showed the delivery guy and he said I could only use it in the restaurant, even though it doesn't say that anywhere on the coupon. Before I confirmed my order I found a coupon area on their site.
